Grouse medicine asks us to take a good look at our habitual patterns of movement; physically, mentally, emotionally, energetically and spiritually. When we step into the role of witness, we are better able to see where we get stuck and can then explore the shifts that occur when we do move outside of our regular, ingrained habits.
Grouse reminds us of the importance of creating sacred space in our lives; in our homes and work, in our practices and rituals, in our hearts and minds. By creating and honouring these numinous territories, we naturally shift into greater connection, quiet and ease.
Grouse also serves as a reminder to dance. Literally find a good beat, crank it up and let your body move. But also figuratively find ways to dance with the sweetness of life.
Finally, harmonize yourself with mother earth. Trust and offer heartfelt thanks for the way she nourishes our continuous cycle of birth and rebirth.
The #ipulledacardforyou is a series I originally started on Instagram. While the cards that I pull are from a Medicine Deck of Totem Animals, all the words and insights are my own from sitting in meditation with each animal's medicine and guidance for that week. Please credit accordingly.
